You might be wondering why you have not heard much from me in a bit...well I have been preparing for Allison and my third child. I literally have been working non-stop preparing for little lady Hess to arrive around Nov. 1st...but she and mom thought it best to come a little earlier!!
So here are a few images to tell a small window of our little ladies arrival. Allison had signs of early labor Thursday AM...but they were just to get us excited for Friday...around 3AM, Allison started labor pains and around 10AM is where we pick up the story:

We are waiting in the triage unit...it was around 10:20AM Friday morning...

well...this is where the photo story stops and little lady Hess gets untangled from her umbilical cord by the help of the great staff at Womens and Babies and of course mommy!! Allison had labored through some very hard contractions into the afternoon and after a few very uncomfortable changes of positions...little lady Hess was free enough to come out and see us...
So, at 4:41pm on Oct 24th, 2008 we welcomed little lady Hess into the world.
She is getting checked by the staff in this pic as we were overwhelmed and blessed by our new, beautiful, healthy baby girl.

So I have more to share but I have to help mommy with the boys! You will need to check back to find out her name because at this point in the story we were not sure what her name was to be...check back soon...I won't make you wait too long!! Off to feed the boys and mommy!

OH, CONGRATS GUYS!!!! We are delighted for you and with you. You guys were on my mind because I knew the day wasn't far away. My sister Vonnie had her baby the same day Lady Hess was born. His name is Bennett Cole. He has FOUR older sisters, (in other words, five mommies!!!).
We're expecting again, due next May!!
We'll wait until then to see what God has planted! Love from Strasburg!!

congratulations! She is beautiful. I loved all the pictures! We are having another little girl in March...we just found out what we are having! Seeing all the pictures brought back memories and made me excited for our day! Anyways...blessings. Three is busy but fun!
