Laura & Jarred - MARRIED!

Hello Everyone!!

Another great May wedding to post!! Nicola, Billy(CA intern), and I captured Laura and Jarred's wedding on May 2nd. Just check out those great blossoms!! I was personally was very excited about photographing in this church because my great grandmother is the oldest living member...103yrs old!! I also remember back in the day when she was married at the church to her second husband.

I love some of the great moments captured...the nervous humor of the groomsmen in waiting, dad giving his daughter away, Laura with tears of joy, and Jarreds sister's tears of joy after the ceremony! Then to capture images of grandpa's old car and Laura and Jarred under the blossoms...I thought it couldn't get much better...but then DJ Freez rocked it out!! What a blast...Freez was mixin it up and the guest were cuttin the rug at the Historic Strasburg Inn.

Hey, my name is Billy Scanlan and I just came out from California to work with Jeremy for the summer. (No, I don't surf) What I love most about photography is capturing a moment, which cause the viewer to peer into another time, place or situation they may normally not find themselves. This morning was a great morning getting to hang out with Bekah, Josh and their sweet little girl Maddie! She is so expressive and there is such a sweetness about her! She made me smile! And what nice weather we had after the rain...it was perfect! Here are a few of my favs...

Last night I had a blast hanging out with Lauren and Bob and their 6 month old baby Pierce. What a chunker he is and soooo cute! Those big blue eyes just captivate you!!! And his smile...well words can't even explain what it does to you ;o) We had a perfect evening for some outside shots! Thanks for a fun evening! Here are a few of my favs...

Mary Beth & Alan April Wedding

Hello Everyone,

Great to be blogging today! I am excited to share with you some images captured by Amanda and I this past April of Mary Beth and Alan's wedding day. What a gorgeous April day!! When I drove up to the Outdoor Country Club of York I was blown away by the trees in full blossom. When I saw Mary Beth, we both got so excited about the blossoms and the beauty of the day. There is always something special about a wedding day, not because of the weather, locations or venues, its you!! As I continue to walk through my career of capturing images I am overwhelmed by people and their stories.

Mary Beth and Alan have unique stories about loss, about success, and about friendship. They were two unlikely candidates to meet or marry. But, as the ceremony unfolded, so did their story. There is much to share but let me share through images. I hope that as you view these images, you look past the beauty of the locations and looking into the beauty of who Mary Beth and Alan really are...
