Home Sweet Home

I had a wonderful time in England visiting my family and friends and it was good to get a good cup of tea and enjoy some of my favorite foods. We had quite some unexpected weather the day we were planning to go to London. We woke up to a lovely white blanket of snow. I have never seen that much snow in England before! England doesn't have quite the snow crews that we have over here so it was nasty...but we made it in my train and had alot of fun trying to capture some shots of Big Ben at night despite our absolutly numb fingers. We also got to go to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and York Minster. Here are a few of my favorite images.

Hudson

I love these little hands. It's so much fun resting during the winter and spending quality time with the Fam. Life seems to be so busy sometimes...i need to stop and rest...enjoy the little details in life. Have you considered the little details in life? Look out your window...stop for a moment... It has been some time since I have stopped... before we know it life will have passed by. I have been challegened lately to stop...make sure that I don't plan and plan and plan for life and life be already gone.

Enagement Photos

This past weekend I was out at Ashley's family farm photographing engagement pictures for her and Matt. Yes, it was cold but it was worth it...you can't beat these blue wintery skies!!! I love the simple horizon lines of the fields and look at these shadows. I am looking forward to a warmer June day for this great couple.
