Cassi & Jason :: Hitched!

This past weekend Jeremy and I were so excited for the gorgeous weather!!! And we certainly took advantage of it too! It was great to finally be able to go outside and not drip with sweat, or for that matter, take our bride and grooms out and have them not dripping as well! We were at LMA for the ceremony and headed to Greenfield for some party and portrait shots. Then we was off to the Eden for the reception! Umm um um they had some great food like BBQ and mashed potato martinis...yum!

Cassi and Jason were so wonderful to work with! They have such gentle spirits and such a respect for one another. They had a kick butt bridal party too! These folks new how to have fun! It was a blast being able to be a part of capturing the moments and memories! Have fun in Rome guys! (im jelous!!)

Johanna & Jeff

What an awesome wedding! The second of my weddings in May started out in Lititz, where we were able to use a couple "secret spots" that I had been dying to photograph at. As well as the always fun Lititz Park. As you can see from the photographs Jo and Jeff were an amazing, fun and gorgeous couple. With a Bridal Party to match! My favorite photograph of the day is one of Jo and her father dancing - it is such a perfect and beautiful moment!

Jo and Jeff, it was such fun to work with the both of you on your wedding day I hope that these photographs remind you of your fun and loving relationship for years to come.

Ashley & Brent :: Hitched!

These two were troopers...with some major humidity and heat they were all about sucking it up to get some sweet images!! We started with some prep shots at the Lancaster Arts Hotel then headed to James Street Mennonite for the ceremony. As we were finishing up family portraits in the church we could hear the thunder rolling in the distance, and when we got to Central Market for the party shots it started to rain! noooooo! But we had fun working it up in the parking garage then were able to take Ashely and Brent back to market for some final pictures after the brief thunderstorm. We then headed back to Mulberry for the reception where we cooled off in the A/C. What a great idea they had of having a soup in a bread bowl buffet for dinner! (which i LOVED since i got pretty chilly from being out in the heat and coming into the A/C!! Thanks guys!) I also couldn't help but post a few images from the "special" dance Brent and his groomsmen did to "Beat It" by Michael Jackson. It was hilarious!! Check it out! -Nicola (Photographs by Jeremy Hess team)

Ashley & Travis :: Hitched!

Lets just say, this wedding was everything a good outdoors man would want at his wedding :O) From camouflage vests and garter to table cards with names of different deer! To top it off, the reception was at the Groundhog Lodge! What fun we had capturing these two and their personalities as well as interests (ok, well, maybe more Travis' interests!) Here are some favs... (photographs by Jeremy Hess team)

Jennifer & Scott :: Hitched!

Despite some rain that forced them to have the ceremony under the tent, these two didn't let that stop them from enjoying their special day! What an adorable couple! It was neat to watch the two of them interact together...you can just see the love that Scott has for his beautiful bride! Here are a few of our favs...

A princess, a baby and two tired twins

Friday evening I had a ton of fun doing a session with the Majithia family's kids and their twin nephews. The twins were sleeping when i got there and when they woke up were not too happy to be having the pictures taken. I bet you guess who the princess is? She is so adorable! Her brother is soooo cute and was full of smiles but for some reason wouldn't look at the camera! Still, I got some fun shots! Here are a few of my favs.

Lilly & John

Hello to all, this is Daniel posting.

It has been a while since I put up any of my weddings on here. I have been working from the home office for quite some time now as the Jeremy Hess Photographers office was a little too small to accommodate everyone. Since the new space is in the final stages I hope to be moving back soon. It is really exciting to see all the changes happening around the office. I hope that you will all stop by and check it out when everything is finished! On to the post.

Lilly and John had their wedding the first weekend in May and what a perfect day it was. Although it threatened rain a couple times the weather held and we were able to capture some amazing images! Their love was evident through all that happened that day. Their easy demeanor and beautiful smiles were perfect catalysts for the gorgeous background of the Peter Allen House. Thank you both for the opportunity to photograph your wedding. May you both have a blessed life together.

Rachel & John

A little late on this one, but we wanted to post a few images from Rachel and John's wedding from back in May. Jeremy and I had awesome light for some of the party and portrait shots. Rachel and John are such a relaxed couple but also a bit of goof in them too..ok well maybe just John! ;O) We had so much fun working with them. John works for a lighting company so they had awesome lighting for the reception! It made for some awesome images during their first dance and the toasts! Here are a few of our favs!

A trip to Brusters...

Last night our team got together for our monthly team meeting. Jeremy, being the awesome boss he is, took us all out to Brusters for ice cream. No matter where we go, there is always fun to follow! Here is the run down of the excursion.

We are driving on the way there and Jeremy calls me and asks "umm so do you have your wallet with you?" i reply with "yes, why?"..."because I forgot mine." So guess who is buying ice cream now :O) (good job i have a JHP credit card!!!)...

so we get there, and voni (our pregnant photographer - check out her cute bump!) orders first, and i think 15 mins later after everyone else has their ice cream, I, the one who is paying, finally gets my snickers blast by which time Voni is already done, but im sure baby Hostetter was happy!

Daniel looks really scary when he eats ice cream with his eyes open real wide, Joe looked mad in all the pictures, but he really did have fun that night, and Amanda just looks so innocent with a bowl of ice cream in hand. Marci was the first to drip her ice cream on herself, and low and behold, someone happened to have their scoop roll out of the cone and drop onto the ground...that, of course, being Jeremy!!! He said he didn't really like the key lime anyway.

Torie & Karl

A little overdue, but here are a few images from Torie and Karl's wedding on May 17th! What a fun couple! Their entire day was nothing but first class! Torie was stunning and had such an elegance about her, and Karl was quite the gentlemen in his tails. Their day was absolutely gorgeous. Take a look!
